Briefing
What is Bombanana?
Bombanana (styled BOMBANANA!) is a co-op bomb defusal party puzzle by Lefto Studio, a five-person team in Istanbul, published by TARK. It launched on Steam on September 2, 2026 at $7.99 after its Next Fest demo was played by 6 million people and the game passed 1 million wishlists. Three monkeys share one van and one bomb: the Blind one touches it, the Deaf one sees it, the Mute one reads the manual. Nobody has the full picture, and the timer does not care.
What this desk tables: every module seen so far with the manual rule quoted where it was on screen, the 30-level campaign and the 7 demo levels, what each role can and cannot do, Campaign, Endless and Custom, all 23 achievements with unlock rates and straight answers on PS5, Xbox, Switch, mobile and Linux.

Get started in 5 steps
- Pick roles in the lobby, or hit Random Role. The Mute Monkey needs no microphone; the other two do. Who does what →
- Agree a callout order before the timer starts. Module name → position → what it needs → manual answer → repeat → confirm → act. Communication tips →
- Learn the four demo modules first. Cable, Direction, Calculation and Switch carry levels 1–7; their manual rules are quoted on our module pages. All modules →
- Let the Blind Monkey read the dots. Hovering a finger over a Braille cluster shows the number; nobody needs real Braille. How Braille works here →
- Use the lobby browser or a room code when friends are busy. Strangers clear levels too; everyone needs their own copy. Lobbies and room codes →

The manual and the modules
- How the manual works — who reads it, how it is organised, why there is no PDF.
- Cable Module — the quoted rule, the callout order, the classic mistakes.
- Direction Module — the Braille D-pad and the left/right argument.
- Calculation Module — why the light only appears after you type the answer.
- Switch Module — four lights, four numbers, one ENTER.
- Braille numbers — hover, do not translate.

FAQ
What is Bombanana?
BOMBANANA! is a three-player co-op bomb defusal game by Lefto Studio, published by TARK, released on Steam on September 2, 2026. One monkey is blind, one is deaf and one is mute; each holds a piece of the information needed to defuse the bomb before the timer runs out. It comes from the same team behind Liars Bar and We Are So Cooked, and its Next Fest demo was played by 6 million people.
Is it Bombanana, Bomb Banana or Boombanana?
The official spelling is BOMBANANA! with the exclamation mark, one word. 'Bomb banana', 'boombanana', 'bombana' and 'bom banana' are all common misspellings of the same Steam game (app ID 4656000). There is no separate 'banana bomb' game by Lefto Studio.
How much does Bombanana cost, and is it free?
It costs $7.99 USD (regional pricing applies) and launched with a 38% discount to $4.95. It is not free: the free Next Fest demo was taken offline on August 20, 2026. Rumours of a $20 price were denied by a Discord moderator on the Steam forum before launch.
How this desk is run
Bombanana Defusal Desk is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Bombanana players — not affiliated with Lefto Studio.
- How we verify: Module rules are quoted only where an official screenshot or a recorded playthrough shows the manual page; everything else is marked as observed from footage, never guessed.
- Update cadence: Achievement unlock rates and the player count are re-read from Steam whenever a data page is refreshed; patch notes are added within 48 hours of a Lefto Studio announcement.
- What we don't do: No "free download" or APK links, no leaked manual scans, and no invented level data: a blank cell means we have not seen it in play yet.
